- 2 cups Ladoo Besan or Besan, slightly coarse if not available then you can add 1/4 cup home ground coarse besan or 1/4 cup coarse shoji
- ½ cup Ghee
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ½ cup Cashew nuts, chopped
- 1 level tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 cup Powdered sugar
For garnish:
- Silver varq, or foil
- Pistachios, slice
Methodology:
- In a kadai or deep frying pan add besan, roast it dry for a short time to get rid of any smell.
- Add turmeric powder to get a better color.
- Now, add ghee in besan and patch it well. Until you get the smell.
- Add 1 tsp of extra ghee for patching cashew in the mixture, add chopped cashew.
- Keep the mixture for cooling. Bring at room temperature.
- Now, add cardamom powder and powdered sugar in it and mix it well.
- Start shaping the ladoos.
- Once prepared, garnish with silver varq or foil and serve.
Tips:
- You can add watermelon seeds and patch.
- You can keep ground sugar in a plate and roll the ladoos in the sugar to coat.
