This is a healthy Ragi Soup Recipe. Ragi benefits are not unknown to all of you. Ragi is good for diabetic people and helpful in weight loss. This is a one pot meal, and you can make it very easily in any season. This soup is full of calcium, iron, and vitamins. Ragi Soup is one of my favorite soups. You must try this recipe!

Ingredients:
- Ragi finger millet flour- 2 tbsp
- Assorted Bell Peppers – 1/4
- French Beans- 4 nos.
- Carrot- 1/4 cup diced
- Onion small - 1 no.
- Fresh peas- 1 tbsp
- American Corn cartels - 1 tbsp
- Basil / Spinach leaves - handful
- Flaxseeds Meal - 1 tbsp
- Pink Salt- 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Lemon - 1/2
- Water - as needed

For tempering:
- Coconut Oil or butter - 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds- 1/2 ts

Preparation:
Chop all the vegetables, beans, carrot, bell peppers,
Finely chop onion and keep them ready.
Similarly chop the greens as well.
Next, make a thin paste of finger millet flour mixing with enough water. Keep it ready.

Methodology:
Heat coconut oil and butter in a thick bottom pan.
When oil is hot, add cumin. As it sizzles, add finely chopped onion.
Saute the onions constantly till they turn translucent.
Next add in all the chopped veggies.
Add enough water to the veggies.
Add pink to taste salt.
Cook covered till the veggies are somewhat soft. It may take few minutes.
Add in all the greens. Greens require a few seconds to get cooked.
Next, proceed to include the thin ragi flour paste and stir immediately.
Now add in all the spices like pepper powder and flaxseeds meal.
Finally, combine everything well and add in required water to get the soup to the right consistency.
This soup is very healthy and filling (finger millet soup). Rich in protein, calcium, magnesium, and other trace elements. It is time release and therefore excellent for weight loss.
Drizzle a few drops of lime juice and garnish with grated coconut and cilantro and spring onion.

Tips:
There is no hard and fast rule on type of vegetables, greens, and their quantity. You can use as per your choice.
- You can add or remove the veggies/greens according to your preference. Cabbage, turnip, spring onion would add taste and flavor too.
- Ensure finger millet flour paste is mixed in soup immediately and evenly otherwise it will form lump.
- The amount of water required depends upon the soup consistency you prefer. I have kept it bit thick.
- The veggies should remain crunchy.
